Imabari Face Towel - White

Made in Imabari, Japan
The Imabari towels are world-renowned for their soft texture and great water absorbency.
“The region where Imabari towels are produced is blessed with soft water with very little content of heavy metals, such as the subsoil water of Soja River that runs from the Takanawa Mountain Range and underground water coming from the sacred Mt. Ishizuchi. Imabari is Japan' s largest towel production area.”
“The Imabari towel has its own quality inspection method. For example, there is the “five-second rule.” This is to check whether a towel sinks after it is placed on water within five seconds. This is a unique inspection method used to guarantee “water absorbancy” that is a unique characteristic of the Imabari towel. Only towels that pass such standards can be branded as an Imabari towel.”
