This oval-shaped sewing box was inspired by a shaker box. The inside has two tiers, with the upper tier having an easy-to-carry handle. It fits a pair of thread cutters, a small needle holder, fabric chalk etc. The bottom half is divided into four sections, making it convenient for storing buttons, bobbins and other small items. It can be used not only as a sewing box, but also as a medicine box or jewellery box.

This box is made entirely by hand, maintaining the simple beauty of a shaker box whilst focusing on size and functionality. It is made from cherry wood which has a simple yet elegant bark and the colour of the wood changes to a darker shade over time, which adds to its charm.
