Grinding Bowl Set
A practical kitchen tool traditionally used to break down spices, seeds or herbs to make pastes & smooth sauces/ marinades. Each culture has it's own culinary uses, enjoy the creative potential of this multi-purpose kitchen tool.
To clean a mortar and pestle after everyday use, simply rinse it with warm water and scrub away any debris using a stiff brush or sponge. To absorb any leftover odor or trapped oils, grind a small amount of dry, uncooked white rice into a powder, discard it and then rinse again.
The mortar is dishwasher & microwave safe. Please hand-wash the pestle.
Material: Hand thrown & serrated Australian stoneware with satin white glaze. Pestle is made in Japan out of fragrant Hinoki wood.
